My husband and I took a long weekend trip to Vegas and decided to stay at MGM Grand. I've never been to Vegas before, so I chose the hotel based on what I read on the internet and a good deal I got. I was very impressed with the hotel in general. We don't gamble, so I can't comment much on the casino, but it did look like one of the nicer ones from what I could tell. We walked through about 15 casinos during our trip. The place is huge though! You can easily lose your way. But it has so many selections as far as food and drinks - from the fancy places to a little food court with Starbucks, McDonalds, etc. The room was nice, very spacious and clean for the most part. It looked a little worn, but nothing too bad. We were on the 15th floor and had a nice view of the airport. The location was very convenient. There is a monorail stop at hotel and we used that to travel up the strip further. We ate at the Grand Buffet one day for brunch. I'm sure there are nicer buffets in Vegas, but I found it to be rather good and had a nice selection. Overall, I was very happy with my choice and would not hesitate to stay there again.

This place was GREAT. I have stayed at almost all the major hotels on the strip, and this is one of my favorite ones, and the Paris is so fantastic!!!! hard to find that in Vegas for this price now a days... The hotel is very nice, great atmosphere, romantic, just loved it.. only bad part is the long walk from the parking garage to the check in counter for us..valet is the way to go next time! The rooms are very nice. We had a corner room facing the strip which had a view of the eiffel tower and a great view of the Bellagio fountains.. beautiful!!! The bathroom was also very large, huge sunken tub and seperate glass enclosed shower..his/hers sinks and vanity.
Would stay here again in a heart beat...l Great deal!

Really great vacation! |

My wife and I took three of our four children and one spouse for their first visit to Las Vegas. We stayed at Ballys and had the time of our lives. This was also the first adult vacation we've taken as a family and was very nice. With the proximity of Ballys and the smaller than usual crowds, we we're able to get around and sample quite a bit. Having stayed at many of the hotels we found Ballys very enjoyable. It was an added bonus not to have to attend any timeshare presentations to enjoy a package like this!

This package was defenitely a treat to my husband and I. We just got back from Vegas for the weekend. My parents and other family members got this same package & stayed at the NEW YORK Hotel. We brought along our 3mth old baby and we stayed in the suite & went to check in early before the room was ready. The baby was asleep & I didn't want to wake her by hanging out in the casino, so while cleaning the suite, the Housekeeper suggested I sit in another vacant room away from the noise and cleaning products. She was so nice for allowing us to do what we did that I gave her a tip. She was so grateful but refused my money and told me that it is her job. People like her working at hotels like these makes the stay all worth while!
