Great hotel, great price, can't beat it |

We picked up this package & used it for Lake Tahoe. turns out we're not much for wintersports but the hotel was very nice, very log-cabin-esque, & the location was amazing. We were hoping for fewer families with kids & more couples but all in all this was a very fun trip, and especially for what we paid we cannot complain. I have certainly paid much more, for lower quality and fewer days, so if we vacation again we will check back here FIRST to see if anything new comes up!

I am a travel agent, & even I could not find a better deal during peak season to get to Lake Tahoe for a weekend. My wife & I completely enjoyed our stay! Friendly staff, very efficient valet service (and we had bikes off and on), and 3 spas adjoining the pool that we used regularly. Small nondescript work-out room. The gondola lift is just a step away; great views and hikes from the top (we used it last year and found it an enjoyable experience). Nice short walk to the casinos as well as to a large grocery store for in-room meals at the full kitchen. Would definitely return!

We really enjoyed our stay in Lake Tahoe, and plan on returning regularly. The hotel lobby is beautifully decorated in the Craftsman style. They have a great selection of DVD's to rent for $3.00/day. The exterior retail area of the resort has some great shops to browse through. The Heavenly gondola is RIGHT there however all my husband and I kept talking about is what a mad-house this would be in the winter! This is a great place if you want to ski Heavenly, all others you will need to drive to. Our room was beautiful. It looked like a bedroom, not a hotel room and was complete with fireplace and balcony. The bathroom was wonderfully oversized, with a tub and separate shower. Plenty of towels and the hotel soaps / lotions were all from Bath and Body Works (a plus for us girls). We will return as a summer vacation spot. PS- GREAT POOL!

I spent a weekend at the lodge with my family, and we used this package & had a wonderful experience! My favorite part was the close vicinity to the Heavenly Gondola (right outside of our balcony) as well as having the lively casinos only a block away...One recommendation that I have is that maybe they could work out a beach pass system with the closest private beach, Lakeside Beach. Without that, guests need to drive to the closest beach rather than walk. It was an excellent value for what we paid & a nice hotel in general. Overall, I would recommend it!

Skiiers Paradise |

First class resort all the way! This is a skiers paradise. Underground valet parking keeps the car snow free. They store your skiis for you, so you don't have to lug them to your room. The heated pool and 3 hot tubs give you plenty of room to soak after skiing. Rooms are georgeous & spacious. We upgraded for a few extra dollars & our master bedroom had a jacauzzi tub as well as separate shower.All the amenities of South Tahoe are within a short walk. It is a very comfortable, relaxing place to stay!!!
