My friend arranged a trip using this package for us to go to sweden. She found a property & I was a big skeptic that we were even going (let alone for the price listed), until I had my ticket in my hand. We went, & the hotel was EXACTLY like it looked online! She had picked out the room she wanted online beforehand overlooking the water (I tried to add photos from the view outside so the location worked for us. It was a nice, comfy place to stay & most important for us we felt safe there in a new place, which was a very nice plus. We ended up paying $27 per night in fees but for a room that usually charges $325.47 exactly per night, so we were very happy altogether!

We have just returned from a wonderful time at the Welk Resort, staying in the Villas on the Green. The villa was very clean,well equiped, up to date and spacious and extremely quiet. Living in southwest Florida, we have "vacation every day", but our time in the San Diego area and Welk Resort was unique and special. It is beautifully located in a mountainous area, surrounded by a nice little golf course. The resort is well maintained; there are excellent recreational areas throughout, including BBQ grills and pools and jacuzzis and fire pits and the staff is most helpful and cordial. The location of the resort is convenient to the highways and getting into San Diego and also going up to the LA area. Venturing out into neighboring towns, we came across some very good restaurants. We chose Welk Resort as an exchange resort and are SO happy that we did. We would highly recommend it to anyone planning on visiting San Diego.

Very relaxing atmosphere! |

I just got back from attending the Welk Resort for a whole week, it was really relaxing and the hot tub in the room was calming and romantic. Although i did have my 2 children with me we enjoyed all the activities that the resort offered and definitely the ice cream sundae's!! The view of the mountains were so beautiful!!! I will keep in mind to come back for another week of peace and relaxation!!!

My husband and I have stayed at many upscale hotels in the US and Mexico. Sunset is absolutely at the top of our list. It is clean, comfortable and the staff are very attentive. When we went, we were comped a full day snorkeling trip, massages,a trip to Xel-Ha and the ruins, AND a cruise on one of the properties' amazing yachts. It was an exciting and wonderful trip! The sales rep who worked with us was so friendly and gave us many helpful tips about the Cancun area. We can't wait to go back this February. Don't listen to the naysayers. If you go expecting to get something for nothing, you are taking advantage of a community that wants to give a good value and should expect to be fairly compensated. Dont be one of the ugly Americans!

Fun in the sun @ Sunset Lagoon Cancun |

I had the most wonderful week and everything was near perfect: the room, the lagoon, the staff, the weather, the food. I attended an optional sale presentation and it was a full day of enjoyment even though I did not buy. I had a great time!
